Scholars can’t pinpoint when the book of Job took place. Most all would agree if happened after the flood, but after that the waters are muddied. For our purposes, beginning tomorrow, we fall in line with those who believe Job lived long before Moses and closer to the time of Abraham. Thus our reading of Job finds us at the end of the flood and before the story of Abraham.
