Longing, or desire, is a powerful force. It can drive you to God, or away from him. It can drive you to good, or to evil. What are you longing for today? More importantly, where is that longing pushing you? If you’re longing for closeness with God, know that all you have to do is ask for it. Don’t let longing for sinful desires pull you down. God has better for you.
